Hampshire County Reading Council is dedicated to instill a lifetime love of reading throughout the community. Meetings provide an opportunity for members to assemble to engage in projects, book studies, and discussions that promote literacy goals.

Participants will be engaged in book studies and professional discussions to promote literacy. Participants will b encouraged to help promote the special projects of the local council as well as the West Virginia Reading Association which includes baby bags, book buckets, summer reading programs, assembly of Young Writers' anthologies, etc. Information from reading conferences concerning the latest trends in reading will also be shared.
